We do not climb higher than a 3-step ladder. Higher items will only be dusted w/ an extension duster we cannot move furniture, but we will try to reach any visible places either by hand or with an extension duster. 
In order to provide the highest quality cleaning, we ask that you provide a reasonably clutter-free home by picking up clothes, toys, etc.  If excess clutter is present, we do our best to clean around these areas. We do not clean the following:  display areas such as Lego’s, electronics, diaper genies, pet waste or dishes.

Cancellation/Lockout Policy:

Please note that if service is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, or we are unable to access the home upon arrival, or are turned away at the door, a cancellation/lockout fee will be added to your invoice for $75.00.

How Are Rates Calculated?

Every home has a different set of chores, and every cleaning fee is individually based. Things that will affect the estimate include the square footage of your home, if any pets living with you, number of bathrooms, number of bedrooms, cleaning frequency, if we have to pick up clutter first, dirty dishes left in the sink, etc. We have a formula for calculating each individual cleaning estimate.  Complete the online booking form for an online estimate or call 330-221-3416.

Will All Visits Cost the Same Amount?

The first visit usually costs more than recurring visits. Generally, it takes additional cleaning tasks to get the home up to Dolly’s Maid Service’s standards.

After the initial service, your home’s cleanliness can be easily maintained with our regular visits. Regular visits are charged a flat fee. You will receive an estimate for both the initial cleaning and the regular cleanings up front. Once the initial house cleaning has been completed, we will confirm your regular cleaning price. After two months without appointment we will consider how first time cleaning.

Do I Have To Be Home At the Time Of Service?

If you choose to provide us with a key or garage code to your home, rest assured that your security is our highest priority. Only the company Team Leader or Manager can access the client key safe. Maids are given the keys for each cleaning appointment before they leave the office each day, and must turn these back in to management before they are allowed to leave the office each evening. These keys are returned to the key safe until the next cleaning appointment.

Do You Guarantee a Day and Time for My Cleaning Appointment?

We guarantee a specific day for your cleaning, sometimes the time changes but only upon client approval. We can tell you approximately what time residential housekeepers will arrive. Our teams generally clean homes between 8:15 AM and 4:00 PM. Occasionally, the team may need to stay past 4:00 PM to complete the job.

What If I Need to Reschedule a Cleaning?

Simply call or text the office or email us 48 hours prior to your cleaning day. We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to reschedule your cleaning. A $50.00 fee will be charged to your account if less than 48 hours’ notice is given, although we want to help you avoid incurring these fees. We text a three day and 1 day reminder.

We do not overbook our schedule. So if you need to cancel a cleaning without proper notice, we will not have enough opportunity to fill the schedule with another client. This decreases the maids’ pay. Without consistent wages, we cannot retain the best cleaners to clean for you. Thus, respecting our procedure for rescheduling helps insure you will get the best service.

What If I Accidentally Lock Out The Maids on My Cleaning Day?

Just as with rescheduling fees, if you lock the team out on cleaning day you will be assessed a lock-out fee. The lock-out fee is $50.00. Most of our clients either provide us a key or garage code.

What Should I Do About My Security/Alarm System on Cleaning Day?

If you have a security system, please make necessary arrangements to give us access to your home on your scheduled day. Some clients establish a guest or temporary code for their cleaning team.

What Should I Do With My Pets During the Cleaning?

Please advise us if you have pets and provide any information regarding your pets that we need to know.  We are pet friendly, and would like to know their names.

How Do I Pay for My Cleaning?

You may pay by cash or check. Some client’s like to be billed. There is a $5.00 convenience fee for this. Payment is due at time of service unless you are billed. If you do not intend to be at home at the time of service, you may choose to either leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter the morning of your cleaning

Check Policy: For your convenience if your check is dishonored or returned for any reason, we will electronically debit your account for the amount of the check plus a processing fee of $ 35.00.

How Do I Know I Can Trust Your Staff?

We screen our maids with background checks.  There is always a manager with the team. We are bonded and insured. We do all this so that you can trust us with the care of your home.

Do I Need to Provide House Cleaning Equipment or Supplies?

We provide all cleaning solutions and equipment, so you never need to worry about replenishing your supply for our maids. If you have special cleaning products you want us to use, please be sure to discuss this with the manager in advance, so that we can properly instruct the team.

Do You Send an Individual or a Team Of Maids?

Dolly’s Maid Service has 14 employees. They are broken into 2 and 3 person teams. We most often send a 3 person cleaning team depending on the size of the home.

What is Your Cancellation Fee?

All cleaning services can be canceled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled service. If the customer cancels after the 48 hour time limit, Dolly’s Maid Service will charge $50.

Payment Policy:

Payment is due the day of each scheduled cleaning unless otherwise arranged. Please leave a check on your kitchen counter.

Sales Tax:

All our service areas require sales tax on services.

Late Fee:

If no payment is left for the team, a late fee of $15 will be charged.

Returning Check Fee: 

A $35 fee will be charged for any check returned by the bank.

Lockout Fee:

If the team is unable to enter your home due to the customer’s fault there will be a lockout fee assessed in the amount of $50.

Collection Fee:

In addition to any amounts owed to Dolly’s Maid Service, you agree to be responsible for all reasonable collection and attorney’s fees we incur in seeking to balance your account
